Park Tavern/North Beach

Pros: Location, ambiance and solid American bistro fare
Cons: So far, lunch on Fridays only
Best For: An outdoor seat, overlooking the park

Park Tavern
An upgrade for North Beach dining as Park Tavern takes hold! The vibe is modern brasserie, sophisticated, yet casual, with a communal bar table. Be bold and try an innovative cocktail such as the MCLAREN...gin, cucumber juice, lemon and ginger beer.

Weekend brunch on the sidewalk patio comes with great people-watching, as Washington Square Park is just across the street. It's a quintessential SF spot, with lots of history, appealing to both locals and visitors.

Park Tavern owners, Anna Weinberg and Jennifer Puccio (of Marlowe fame) have a hit on their hands. Bring anyone here for any occasion and enjoy a creative, yet classic menu, which includes their famous Marlowe burger and dishes cooked in a wood-fired oven.

Noteworthy: Newly added Friday lunch option and valet parking available
