Mifune/Japan Center

Pros: Excellent Traditional Japanese dishes
Cons: It's in a mall
Best For:Udon on cold nights

When you look around the dining room of Mifune on a Sunday night, it's filled with Japanese families enjoying a meal out. Steaming bowls of house-made soba and udon noodles and delicate tempura plates heat up the room, which is always full come dinnertime. Yes, it's in a mall, but an interesting Japanese mall. Take a little tour after dinner or see a movie in the nearby Kibuki Theatres where seats are reserved and you can buy a drink at the bar and take it inside the theatre with you.
