Revolution Cafe/Mission

Pros: Casual, high quality live music
Cons: Pot-smoking on the patio is offensive to some
Best For: Sunday afternoon jazz

Revolution Cafe

At the Revolution Cafe you can smoke a doobie on the patio, while enjoying a beer on tap and some very fun and inspired music courtesy of the Michael Smith Jazz Group. Some of the city's finest musicians join the Sunday afternoon jazz gig, including Gary Zellerbach on guitar and flute master Gerald Beckett. The room is small and funky and the crowd is eclectic. Laptops, joints and jazz on a lazy dazy Sunday cap off a quintessential SF weekend, Mission-style.

Noteworthy: No admission charge, so tip the band!
