Sundance Kabuki Cinema/Japantown
Pros: Real food and alcohol/Reserved seats
Cons: Not for children
Best For: Drinking and eating during a show
Sundance Kabuki aims to spoil movie-goers with options for wining and dining and viewing all at the same time. With reserved seating, you don't have to stress over arrival time but if you do come early, a cocktail upstairs might be in order. Then settle into really comfortable chairs, with adjacent tables for food, and enjoy the show.
Parking is tough. Take public transport, if possible, although there are some parking lots nearby. Often at peak times, they are full up.
Noteworthy: The theatre is adjacent to Japantown and some darn good restaurant choices before, or after a show.
