Yoshi's San Francisco/Western Addition

Pros: Jazz and sushi too
Cons: A cavernous venue
Best For: Dinner and a show

Yoshi's San Francisco

In 1973 a sushi bar opened in North Berkeley called Yoshi's. Next came the addition of live jazz, and in 2007, Yoshi's San Francisco made its debut in the Fillmore Heritage Center. Welcome to the 28,000 square foot 2-story music club and Japanese restaurant offering dinner and jazz 7 days a week. Hit the bar or the lounge, catch a show, make a dinner reservation. Can you find better sushi in town? Probably. But the sweet combination of a sophisticated meal and an acoustically sound room for music, is a great combination.
