Hotel Boheme/North Beach

Pros: Right in the thick of North Beach, for those who love the hood
Cons: Rooms facing Columbus Ave can be noisy
Best For: Its Beat-era style

Hotel Boheme

Put on your walking shoes cause this part of SF is accessible to a lot of cool stuff. The hotel itself pays homage to the Beat Generation. City Lights Bookstore, literary meetingplace since 1953, is close by, as are good restaurants and some of the city's best attractions.

You will be warmly greeted and well taken care of here. Don't forget to have a glass of sherry on the house, between 6 and 10pm.

Noteworthy: Stella Pastry, on street level
