Fort Mason Center Sunday Farmers' Market

Pros: Low-key on the bay
Cons: Needs a hipper baked goods vendor
Best For: Coffee from the Readers Cafe and a morning-after hunt for farm-to-table ingredients

Fort Mason Farmers Market

From 9:30am to 1:30pm every Sunday this lovely small-scale Fort Mason market makes shopping for farm products a joy. Taste the cheeses and cut-up fruit along the way and if it happens to be time for lunch, stop at the Roli Roti truck and buy 1/4 chicken and a side of rosemary roasted potatoes. Then park yourself at a picnic table and enjoy the historic spot and invigorating ocean air.
